Magnolia, MS (T-NR) -DIGITAL OPTION LOCATED UNDER THE PLAN TAB- ONLY SELECT MISSISIPPI PLAN ROOMS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ACCESS WGK BID DOCUMENTS. NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Magnolia, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 am local time on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the office of the City of Magnolia located at 175 E. Railroad Ave., N., Magnolia, MS 39652 for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and for performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the construction of the 2023 MCWI/ARPA Water Supply Improvements. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 am local time, on Monday, June 30, 2025 at the office of the City of Magnolia. The project includes the Project includes installing new media at 2 aerators, recoat the exterior of aerators, rehabilitate 2 existing well, replace controls at 2 existing wells, install flowmeters at 2 existing wells, and install SCADA system at 3 existing wells. The Contract Time will be One Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $550 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Plans, contract documents and proposal forms are on file for public inspection in the office of the City of Magnolia, 175 E. Railroad Ave., N., Magnolia, MS 39652, and in the office of the Engineer, WGK, Inc., 204 W. Leake St., Clinton, MS 39056 (). All documents required for bidding purposes, including specifications and plans, may be viewed for free at www.wgkengineersprojects.com. Documents may be downloaded for a non-refundable charge of $75. Hard Copies are also available for ordering online for a non-refundable fee. Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom the Contract Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom the Contract Documents were not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened. State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident state’s current law pertaining to such state’s treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor’s current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the hour of 10:00 am local time on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the office of the City of Magnolia located at 175 E. Railroad Ave., N., Magnolia, MS 39652. Bids will be considered by the City of Magnolia at or before the next regular meeting thereof to be held within thirty (30) days of the date of receipt of bids.
