The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk - Pentagon Directorate intends to solicit Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) (CAGE: 1XFF6) on a sole source basis. Pursuant to FAR 8.002(a)(1)(iii) and FAR 6.302-5(b)(1) Federal Prison industries, Inc. (UNICOR) is a Mandatory Government Source. The proposed contract action is for the distribution of specified promotional items to The Navy Recruiting Command facilities offices, which are often for purposes such as Future Sailor Kits FSK bags with Navy logos for the future sailors and items provided at recruiting events. Interested persons may submit a capability statement by the specified response date. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes from any source other than Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) (CAGE: 1XFF6). However, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
