Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated ยงยง50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes ("eRFQ") is being issued to establish a contract with one (1) qualified supplier who will provide two (2) BD MAX systems and service to the Department of Public Health (hereinafter, "the State Entity") as further described in this eRFQ. The Georgia Department of Public Health's (hereafter referred to as "DPH") Public Health Laboratory (GPHL) solicits the BD MAX System manufactured by BD Integrated Diagnostic Solutions to conduct surveillance testing for infectious diseases. Specifically, the Department will purchase two (2) BD MAX systems for GPHL's Decatur and Waycross facilities. The BD MAX System is a fully integrated, automated platform that performs nucleic acid extraction and real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) providing results for up to 24 samples across infectious disease syndromes (Gastrointestinal, Sexual Transmitted Infection (STI), Fugal and blood stream infections) to support outbreak investigations. BD Integrated Diagnostic Solutions is the sole vendor supporting reagents and consumables for FDA 510K cleared syndromic panels for infectious disease testing.
