U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector requires solid waste removal services for Ajo Border Patrol Station and the Ajo State Route 85 Checkpoint located in Why, Arizona, and Ajo, Arizona, respectively.
The overall period of performance includes a base year and four option years. The base year period of performance is August 7, 2025, through August 6, 2026.
A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued as a total small business set-aside on or about June 30, 2025, with an estimated closing date of July 10, 2025. The RFQ will be made available through SAM. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
It is anticipated that award will be made on or about July 24, 2024.
The applicable NAICS code is 562111 - Solid Waste Collection. The corresponding size standard is $47 million. As stated above, the solicitation is set aside for eligible small businesses under this NAICS code.
No sustainable acquisition requirements have been identified.
In order to be considered for award, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to the solicitation closing date. Interested vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.
