CITY OF VENETADOG PARK AND PICKLEBALL COURTS Bids Due 2:00 pm, May 29th, 2024 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Sealed bids for the Veneta Dog Park and Pickleball Courts, City of Veneta, Oregon, shall be addressed to Public Works Director, Kyle Schauer, and will be received at Veneta City Hall, 88184 8th Street, P.O. Box 458, Veneta, OR 97487. Bids must be received by the City in City Hall by 2:00 pm to be considered. Acceptance of bids will be officially closed at 2:00 pm Pacific Time, May 29th, 2024, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read at Veneta City Hall. Each bid must be submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope, addressed to Kyle Schauer, Public Works Director, City of Veneta, at the above address. Each bid must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the name of the bidder, the City's address and "Veneta Dog Park & Pickleball Courts". Bids not so marked may be disqualified. No electronic or facsimile submittals will be accepted. The project involves the construction of a new dog park and pickleball courts (Alternate #1). Amenities at the proposed dog park include: installation of water pipe, drinking fountain, water hydrants, dog waste stations, bike racks, fencing, walkways, gravel surfacing, a gravel access road, and landscape features. Amenities at the proposed pickleball courts include: (4) new pickleball courts, walkways, fencing, and landscape features. Project Manual including Plans, Specifications, Agreement, and Bid Forms are available at the City of Veneta's website https://www.venetaoregon.gov/ where they can be viewed and printed. Any Addenda will also be posted on the City of Veneta's website https://www.venetaoregon.gov/. All prospective bidders must be added to the Plan Holders List by sending an e-mail with company contact information to
[email protected] with the project title in the subject line. Prospective bidders must be on the Plan Holders List for their bid to be considered. Bidders are responsible for checking the website for addenda and changes prior to submitting bid, however notification of Addenda issuance will be issued via e-mail to the addresses listed on the Plan Holders List.
