Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) and White Sands MissileRange (WSMR) MET Division has a requirement for the Maintenance and repair of:

FBS-ST, 449 MHz Radar Wind Profiler at DPG (QTY 1)
DBS-BL, 924 MHz Radar Wind Profiler at DPG (QTY 4)
MP-3000A Microwave Radiometers at DPG (QTY 2)
DBS-BL, 924 MHz Radar Wind Profiler at WSMR (QTY 1)
XBS-BL, 924 MHz Radar Wind Profiler at WSMR (QTY1)

This equipment is located in the West Desert Test Center (Ditto Area) at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, and also the White Sands Missile Range.

The intent is to sole source to Radiometrics Corporation per Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C.1901 as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5: 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of United States Code (U.S.C.) 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1).

Radiometrics Corporation is the only company who can provide the required services as these are unique systems which were all designed and built by their personnel. Radiometrics is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the above systems and have the expertise to maintain them. The equipment and their systems are proprietary, Radiometrics is the only contractor that is authorized to work on the equipment.
