The Metropolitan Transportation is seeking to hire a consultant to prepare the Environmental Impact Report for Plan Bay Area 2050+. The approach for this EIR will be to prepare a new standalone EIR for the updated plan that uses the structure and content of the prior (2021) EIR as a general template. It should be assumed, unless determined otherwise, that the prior thresholds of significance and mitigation strategy remain generally appropriate for use in this EIR, with changes driven primarily by changes in the plan scope and strategies.
