The purpose of this amendment is to accomplish the following:
1. The answers to industry submitted questions are posted via this amendment.
2. Remove erroneous reference to 15' x 15' in the first sentence of line item 0001 description. It is changed to:
"NFES 0458, NET - CARGO, 6000 LB CAPACITY AND SHIPPING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE OF ITEMS ON PAGES 4-5."
3. Make the following changes to the SF-1449 continuation document:
-Change delivery dates for items on schedule of items (pages 4-5 of 39)
-Update SECTION D - CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, EXHIBITS OR ATTACHMENTS to include the SF-30.
-Add SF-30 as a required submission document (page 23 of 39)
The U.S. Forest Service, Washington Office of Procurement & Property Services, Incident Procurement Operations, Incident Support Branch-Logistics at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) in Boise, Idaho, is soliciting quotes for the purchase of CARGO NETS: 390 each 6,000 pound capacity, drawstring, external, helicopter, cataloged in the National Fire Equipment System as item NFES 0458. First article testing will be required but will be waived if testing has been passed within the last 3 (three) years. Cargo nets must meet the standards of Forest Service, United States Department of Agriculture Specification 5100-504b as well as any other specifications posted with the solicitation.
The Government anticipates awarding a single Fixed-Price Purchase Order for the purchase of these items to be delivered to multiple locations throughout the United States. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 314994 Rope, Cordage, Twine, Tire Cord, and Tire Fabric Mills, and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. Product Service Code (PSC) is 1670 - Parachutes; Aerial Pick Up, Delivery, Recovery Systems; And Cargo Tie Down Equipment.
Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) and be associated with NAICS 314994 on the registration prior to award.
First Article Testing (FAT) items must be delivered to the National Technology and Development Program located at 5785 US Hwy 10 West, Missoula, MT 59808, no later than 45 days after award. PLEASE NOTE: All FAT items will be retained by the Government Aviation Office and are not included in the total item count.
