RFQ030703 1.1 Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving bids until July 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM local time, for construction services for the Facilities – Traffic Maintenance Facility Phase 3 project. Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. This project involves renovation of the sign shop, fabrication, and storage spaces. Work includes walls to be removed, added, and adjusted as designed in order to repurpose certain areas. New furniture and storage shelving will be provided. Additionally, removal of the existing HVAC unit that is currently mounted on the roof, as well as removal and/or modification of HVAC duct work and controls. Minor electrical work will be necessary to support renovations and HVAC work, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). A pre-bid meeting will be held prior to bid opening on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at 1820 East 17th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219. Notice of published addenda will be posted on the City’s Vendor Services web site and all addenda will be posted on www.bidexpress.com. 1.2 Classification: All bid documents (Invitation for Bid, technical specifications, plans, and future addenda) will be available for review and download on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com after the IFB is published.
