Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a 100% Small Business owned AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov).

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following:

12445224R0019: GAOA Bartram Trail Bridge Replacement, National Forest in Alabama, Ala.

The project is located at the Tuskegee National Forest, Alabama. 

 The Forest Service is requesting quotes for the removal / installation of 10 new elevated boardwalks with curbs as well as the removal of approximately 25 danger trees along the North End of the Bartram Trail. The Contractor is advised to make site visits prior to submitting quotes.

 Solicitation 12445224R0019 is designated for this effort and will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about May 6, 2024. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary to submit a proposal for this project.

A pre-bid site visit is currently planned and will be scheduled in the RFP. The solicitation will include site visit information, as necessary.

Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects:  The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
