SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy.  As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

Technical evaluation criteria are as follows:

1. 3 chamber glove boxes linked with antechambers
2. Purification units to decrease oxygen and water concentrations below 1ppm
3. Regeneration unit for oxygen and water filters
4. 3- or 2-piece glove port feedthroughs per box
5. Vacuum pumps for antechambers
6. HEPA filters for gloveboxes
7. Oxygen (3) and wate (3) sensors for glove box
8. Glove box purging system
9. Electronic control system for operation pressure
10. Foot pedal control system for operation pressure
11. Leak rate below 0.05 Vol%/h
12. Flanges for electrical / gas feedthroughs (at least 4)
13. Crating and shipping included
14. Installation included

Source selection will be based on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Method.

The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. And SLAC Onsite Non-Green Rider Terms and Conditions. Please mark up terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.
