THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes a PRE-SOLICITATION notice in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2.
On or about 13 Feb 2025, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for “GSU Transformer Supply, Oahe Dam, SD & Ft Peck Dam, MT”. The solicitation will close on or about 12 Jun 2025. The solicitation is Unrestricted and Open to Both Large and Small Business Participation.
Site Visit:
A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation. The site visit is tentatively scheduled for 13 May 2025 at Fort Peck Dam, MT and 15 May 2025 at Oahe Dam, SD.

Supply of the generator step-up (GSU) transformers 4 and 5 located in switchyard #2 at the Fort Peck Dam. The final supply contract for the Fort Peck transformers will include:

Supply of all GSU transformers located at Oahe Dam. The supply contract for the Oahe transformers will include:

The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 335311 - Power, Distribution, and Specialty Transformer Manufacturing, with a size standard for Small Business of 800 Employees.
