COUNTY OF AMADOR INVITATION TO BID 25-18 TREE MORTALITY MITIGATION PROJECT #24 The County of Amador is seeking sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, tax, bonds, insurance, permits, premiums, shipping, transportation, services, disposal, equipment, materials, and appurtenant facilities for qualified Licensed Timber Operators (LTO-A) possessing a C-61/D-49 contractor’s license to provide Tree Mitigation services in the project area delineated in ITB 25-18. The services requested will include all operations related to the safe, legal, efficient cutting of dead and/or dying trees, selective removal of trees and treatment of associated slash and debris that pose a hazard to county roads. Said bids shall be in accordance with the Bid Information and Documents contained herein and with the laws and regulations set forth by the State of California, and all other applicable regulations. This project is subject to prevailing wage requirements. Consequently, potential contractors must possess a contractor’s license in the C-61/D-49 classification and be duly registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. In addition, because of the technical expertise in logging required to efficiently and safely conduct the project, potential contractors must also be Licensed Timber Operators (LTO-A) in California. No exceptions to these licensing requirements can be permitted. A non- mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted at 9 am. on June 23, 2025, at the Walgreens parking lot, 475 State Highway 49, Sutter Creek, CA 95685.
