Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia anticipates a requirement for Accessible Playground Procurement and Installation that is being considered under a small business set-aside program at Langley AFB. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 339920. The size standard for this NAICS is 750 Employees.
INSTRUCTIONS: In response to this Sources Sought, contractors must submit one conceptual plan for a 10,500 square foot assessable playground in addition to a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM). The ROM should reflect the anticipated price range for providing playground equipment, site design, and any associated services such as delivery and installation. This estimate is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal proposal or binding offer. Base representatives will utilize conceptual plans to inform and finalize the forthcoming official solicitation and Statement of Work (SOW).

Upon formal solicitation, contractor will be required to quote for all services, labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision to procure and install a 10,500 square foot rectangular Accessible Playground per the preliminary site plan located on JBLE-Langley – See Exhibit A for preliminary location. The contractor will be required to procure and install all equipment including all necessary site work to provide a complete and usable accessible playground. This will be a turn-key requirement from submitting the approved conceptual design to the completion of the playground, including prepping the pad to accept the new playground equipment. The contractor will detail all site work included in their proposal. Any exclusions should be specifically denoted as well. The ADA sidewalk and parking lot stripping are excluded from this requirement.
