The 1st-Tier Subcontractors list is due no later than 4:00 PM PT, May 1st, 2024. All bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Calapooia Center Boardroom (CC-103) at 2:00 p.m. PT, May 1st, 2024. A mandatory pre-bid conference (including courtyard walkthrough) is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. PT in the Facilities/Service Center Conference Room, 6500 SW Pacific Blvd., Albany, Oregon. A person shall not submit a bid to do work as a construction "contractor," as defined in ORS 701.005 (2), unless that person is first registered with the Construction Contractors Board. Bids received from persons who fail to comply with this requirement shall be deemed nonresponsive and be rejected, unless contrary to federal law. Each bidder shall comply with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Rate Law in ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870; Equal Opportunity requirements; and provide Worker's Compensation Insurance for its employees as per ORS 656.029. All subject employers working under the contract are either employers that will comply with ORS 656.017 or employers that are exempt under ORS 656.126.
