MALU CR COLLECTION MANAGEMENT PLAN

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-87 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant contract will be awarded using negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR 13. This is a total small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19-502-2. The principle NAICS is 712110, Museums and size standard is $34M. The National Park Service, Interior Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf requires a Collection Management Plan (CMP) that will create an up-to-date park CMP and incorporate new museum collections like the King Family Home collection. The Contractor will manage day-to-day operations of the CMP project; research park archives, databases, and working files; schedule and conduct interviews with park staff; conduct on-site visits of collection and exhibit spaces; monitor schedules for completion of tasks; and analyze and synthesize the materials based on CMP template and checklists. The Contractor will produce a draft CMP for review by park staff and SMEs as well as a final CMP. Distinct chapters tied to museum record keeping, storage, archives, preservation, access and use, exhibits, staffing, security, partnerships, and NPS museum program planning documents will be covered.
The solicitation number assigned to this requirement is 140P5125Q0038. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).
The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to the offeror that provides the best value without
discussions in accordance with FAR 13. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid UEI number and be registered with System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). SAM.gov offers free services. An offeror must ensure that they are self-certified under NAICS Code 712110 in the Representations and Certifications portion of SAM.gov.
