The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a multiple award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) construction contract (MACC) to provide mechanical construction services at the NIST location in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Work shall be performed in accordance with task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. It is anticipated that most of the task orders issued under this contract will involve mechanical construction. See the attached DRAFT Statement of Work for the MACC. The DRAFT Statement of Work for the first task order, which will be part of the solicitation for the MACC, is also attached to this notice.
This acquisition is being conducted as a small business set-aside.
The total maximum quantity to be ordered is $8,000,000 for the length of the contract, not to exceed three years. The maximum quantity is calculated as the sum of all orders issued, including modifications, to all the MACC contractors. No more than 3 IDIQ contracts will be awarded from this solicitation. Specific requirements will be identified in written task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. Task orders will range in value from $2,500 to $2,000,000.
