In accordance with the Contract documents, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supplies, systems, and disposal as necessary to complete the construction of Navy Pier Freedom Park Construction, San Diego, CA, as shown in Drawing No. EM-2024-04R and as described in Specification No. 2024-24R of the San Diego Unified Port District. This bid Specification No. 2024-24R is a rebidding of Specification No. 2024-24 in which all bids were rejected by the BPC on June 6, 2025, after receiving only one bid of $2,740,403.00 due to the bid being significantly above the engineer's estimate and currently available funding from third-party-payor Midway. The engineer estimate for Specification No. 2024-24R remains $1,345,000,000,. The total contract duration is 120 calendar days. The Work shall include, but not limited to, the following. 1. Jet grouting along approximately 380 linear feet of retaining wall within the limits as shown in the plans including related mobilization and demobilization. 2. Project Management and Coordination including but not limited to On-Site Work Hours, Work Coordination and Notifications with the District, tenants, and the public. 3. Coordination and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements including but not limited to Vehicular and Pedestrian Safety, Construction Pollution Prevention Plan (Exhibit B, Coastal Development Permit, In-water work (Exhibit C, ACOE RGP 72), Construction Debris Removal and Disposal. 4. Prior to submitting a bid price for Jet Grouting, the grouting Contractor shall conduct a site inspection and review available subsurface information (including geotechnical borings). Prior to bid, Contractor shall verify the suitability of his methods for the project based on the conditions indicated by the subsurface information provided. 5. It is intended that the Work be completed in every respect under the Contract Document, and such items or details not mentioned above or not included in the Bid Schedule that are required by the Contract documents (as defined in Subsection 5.1.2.6 of the General Conditions) shall be furnished, performed, placed, constructed, or installed by the Contract DOWNLOAD SPEC FOR COMPLETE SCOPE OF SERVICE AND SPEC REQUIREMENTS
