The requirement includes the following but is not limited to:
Engineering Studies and Design: Comprehensive engineering studies will be conducted to determine the optimal location and design for the new well. This includes geological surveys, hydrological assessments, and detailed design plans to ensure the well meets all technical and operational requirements.
• Drilling a New Well: The well will be drilled to a minimum depth of 70 meters with a diameter of 30 centimeters, using unplasticized polyvinyl chloride casing (ASTM F480 and NSF 14, Schedule 40) or as approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative.
• Well Pump Installation: The project includes the purchase and installation of a well pump capable of achieving an optimum pumping rate of 3 to 6 cubic meters per hour.
• Integration with Existing System: The new well will be connected to the existing water distribution pipe, ensuring seamless integration with the current infrastructure.
• Construction of Pump House: A pump house will be constructed to house the well pump and associated equipment, providing protection and facilitating maintenance.
•Automatic Operation with Bypass Feature: The system will be designed to operate automatically, with a bypass feature to ensure continuous water supply in case of any operational issues.
•Water Quality Testing: Comprehensive water quality testing will be conducted to ensure that the well water meets all health and safety standards for potable water. Regular monitoring and testing will be performed throughout the project to ensure compliance with quality standards.
The complete Scope of Work and specifications will be provided in the solicitation once issued
