Description:
This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for quotation. No solicitation will be issued, and no quotations will be requested.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order for a preventative maintenance agreement (PMA) to Mauna Kea Technologies Inc., located at 24 Denby Road Suite 140, Allston, MA 02134-1606.

The probes are critical for monitoring, assessing, classifying, and guiding diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, including cancer. Mauna Kea Technologies is the sole provider capable of performing the required preventative maintenance for the Cellvizio system; no other vendors are known to offer this service.
This procurement is conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures, specifically Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1).
