Proposals will be received until 11 am, prevailing time, Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the Bid Document. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Remington Basin in Wynnewood, PA 19096 on Thursday, Janaury 6, 2022 at 9:00 AM., for all interested Bidders. Scope of Work The Township of Lower Merion is accepting bids for clearing and grubbing; excavation and grading; tree removal; removal of invasive plantings; new plantings; bituminous pavement replacement; temporary erosion and sediment control measures; etc. Penn Wynne Park, new stormwater structures and pipes, boulder wall, and fencing. Construction is estimated to begin in March 2022 pending contract execution and weather conditions. Detailed specifications developed by the Pennoni Associates, Inc.
