PIONEER COURTHOUSE SQUARE (PSQ) TYPE 1 TRACTION POWER SUBSTATION (TPSS) REPLACEMENT PROJECT CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/ GENERAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES Proposals Due 2:00 pm, April 29, 2024 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP NO. RC240162KN1. The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) is soliciting Proposals from qualified general contractors to provide Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) Services including both preconstruction services and construction services work for the Pioneer Courthouse Square (PSQ) Type 1 TPSS Replacement Project. 2. TriMet will receive sealed proposals via its eProcurement website (TriP$) until 2:00 PM (Local Time) on Monday, April 29, 2024. Proposals will not be publicly opened. 3. No proposal security will be required. A 100% performance bond and 100% labor and material payment bond on TriMet bond forms will be required when construction services are added to the contract (via a contract modification). 4. Proposers must register on TriMet's eProcurement System (TriP$) at https://solutions.sciquest.com/apps/Router/SupplierLogin?CustOrg=TriMet. In the event solicitation addenda are issued only registered Proposers will be notified via email of the availability of addenda for download. Acknowledgement of addenda will be required. 5. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference and site tour will be held on April 11, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM (local time) at TriMet's One Main Place office, as well as via WebEx. One hour site tours will be held starting at 2:00 PM. (Reservations required) Note: The project site is in a highly public use location and access to the TPSS vault has limitations. While the pre-proposal conference and following site visit are not mandatory, prospective proposers are strongly encouraged to attend to gain an understanding of the access and space limitations for construction. This solicitation is for a public work subject to State of Oregon prevailing wage rate laws (ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870) when construction services are added to the contract.
