Plaquemines Parish School Board Advertisement for Bids Sealed bids will be received by the PLAQUEMINES PARISH SCHOOL BOARD until 2:00 PM on THURSDAY, MAY 30th, 2024, at the School Board Office located at 1484 Woodland Highway, Belle Chasse, Louisiana 70037, at which time bids for the NEW PARKING/PAVING PROJECT AT THE NORTH TRANSPORTATION FACILITY will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bids received after the above time will not be accepted. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope containing only one bid form. The bid envelope shall be identified on the outside with the name of the project, and the name, address, and Louisiana contractor’s license number of the Bidder. The Plaquemines Parish School Board requires the Bidders to attach a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, issued in favor of the Plaquemines Parish School Board, equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid and all Alternates as evidence of good faith of the Bidder. Best's Key Rating Guide to write individual bonds up to ten percent of policyholders' surplus as shown in the A.M.
