BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work is intended to improve the safety, function, and aesthetics of Point State Park and to better integrate an underutilized area of the park with the rest of the park. Improvements include redevelopment of parking lot circulation into a more organized layout. The scope also includes providing modern office space for park staff, a new restroom facility, rehabilitation of the Portal Bridge and Flag Bastion, the addition of solar canopies, site circulation enhancements, security and utility upgrades and other site improvements. These infrastructure improvements will allow the park to better serve the visitors and allow staff to more efficiently manage the park. ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $23,500,000.00.
