The California Department of Insurance (CDI) invites firms to review and respond to this Invitation for Bid (IFB) # 25EB-003S, entitled Pole Camera Installation and Removal Services. The CDI intends to award one (1) contract for the Agreement term of thirty-six (36) months. The CDI will require the Bidder to provide services for the installation and removal of CDI surveillance equipment. CDI currently has surveillance cameras that will need to be installed on various utility poles for investigative purposes and then removed from those poles at a later requested date. The necessary work will only be performed on approved poles from the utility company that owns the poles. CDI will obtain and coordinate with municipalities and utility companies for necessary approvals before scheduling work on the poles. The work is to be charged hourly per service request. CDI will be required to be present during install services to ensure camera equipment is operational and during removal services to recover camera equipment. Any additional work outside the scope will require additional review and authorization before performing services. The CDI plans to request up to seven (7) installation services and up to seven (7) removal services for each Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26, FY 2026-27, and FY 2027-28.
