Slippery Rock University – Slippery Rock, PA UP-2024-005 Police Services Student Union Fit Out Project Slippery Rock University, of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents. Work included in each Separate Prime Contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Work included under this Project consists of the fit-out of shell space within the Campus Success Center (CSC) at Slippery Rock University into the new police services department, including all associated fire protection, mechanical and electrical work. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all Construction to the satisfaction of the University, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education. A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on July 2, 2025, at 10AM, in the Campus Success Center - Multipurpose Room - Room 206, 103 Central Loop, Slippery Rock PA, 16057. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended. Electronic Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM, EST on July 24, 2025, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted. PennBid provides bid privacy, security and supplier confidentiality, while streamlining the overall procurement process.
