This request is for a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) firm to address WMATA's high-volume and specialized hiring needs. The RPO firm will provide flexible and scalable hiring solutions to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements, aligning with WMATA's Strategic Transformation Plan. The firm will enhance WMATA's capacity to recruit, screen, and develop the candidate pipeline, and onboard high-caliber talent across various roles, including customer service, CDL-requisite positions, law enforcement, and skilled trades. By delivering a comprehensive recruitment solution via a co-sourced and/or hybrid model, the RPO firm will streamline hiring for critical roles and support WMATA's Department of People, Culture, and Inclusion and Office of Talent Acquisition. WMATA operates one of the largest transit systems in the U.S., serving the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, and requires a robust and diverse workforce to ensure uninterrupted service and excellence in public transit. Facing challenges in filling high-demand positions, WMATA needs an RPO firm to enhance its hiring capacity and streamline recruitment processes. The RPO firm will manage both full and partial lifecycle recruitment for high-demand and high-volume roles, with an estimated hiring volume of 1,000 to 1,300 positions annually. The selected firm must demonstrate a proven track record in high-volume recruitment and experience within unionized environments.
