The Project consists of replacing water lines with the highest historical number of leaks and replacing exposed pipe at the creek crossings that has been identified. All service connections will be replaced with new wrapping saddles to the proposed water lines. Existing water lines will be abandoned in place after new water line installations have been approved. Bid Information: Separate sealed bids for ARPA Water Line Replacement will be received by the Reelfoot Water Association at the Hornbeak Utility District, 232 W. Main Street, PO Box 263, Hornbeak, TN 38232, until 10:00 a.m. on July 16, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Any person with disability requiring special accommodations must contact the Reelfoot Water Association no later than 7 days prior to the bid opening. Hard copy full sets of plans and specifications are available for purchase at contractors expense, or files may be downloaded for free from our online plan room.
