The purpose of this notice is to notify everyone that the NOTICE ID number for this requirement will change to NOTICE ID number FA527025R0009 for solicitation posting.
This project shall consist of but not limited to providing all field investigations, surveys,
design, plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, third-party services, and
incidental related work to design and execute construction work defined in this Statement of Work
and the attached documents. The work includes all necessary finishing work to provide the
Government with a final product that is fully functional and leaves no areas of the facility that
appear incomplete or unfinished.
This project shall accomplish a design-build repair the true ceiling of B224. Work includes
full Asbestos-Containing Material (ACM) abatement of the ceiling paint and repair spalls and
cracks. Include any site preparation work such as temporary removal of the suspended ceiling,
lighting system, alarm, electrical wiring and conduit, and ceiling hung air-condition unit.
Sustainable principles, to include life cycle cost- effective practices, will be integrated into
the design, development, and construction of the project in accordance with UFC 1-200-02, High
Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements.
The scope of work may require the sampling, removal/abatement, and disposal of ACM, LBP, or
other hazardous building materials.
The Contractor shall determine the best technical design solution in conformance with current
regulations. The design and construction work shall comply with US federal, Department of Defense,
Air Force, and 18 Wing criteria, as well as applicable Japan regulatory requirements not
specifically stated elsewhere in this project statement of work to provide a complete and usable
facility upon completion. The detailed Scope of Work is described here-in below and the attached supporting documents.
Construction activities may commence after the approval of the Environmental Protection Plan
(EPP) and AF Form 130 (Work Clearance). The Contractor shall coordinate on-site safety requirements
through 718th Civil Engineer Squadron (718 CES)
