This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Houma, LA requires replacement of existing fan exhaust plenum caps.
In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 5 and 12, this Request for Quote (RFQ), number 1232SA25Q0222, is available through electronic commerce via the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. This RFQ is being issued under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210 – Facilities Support Services. The applicable small business size standard is $47M.
The resulting purchase order will be a firm-fixed price type with installation no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the date of the contract award. All deliveries shall be made FOB Destination to the location specified in the contract.
The resulting award will include one (1) line item as listed below:
Line Item 0001 – Replace existing bypass air plenum caps on two roof fans in accordance with the Statement of Work. Quantity: 1 Job
This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03 dated January 17, 2025 (Attachment 1).
Vendors are required to be active and registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov when submitting a quote and at time of award (FAR 52.204-7(b)(1).
A site visit is scheduled for July 1, 2025, 10:00 AM Central Time. Vendors interested in attending the site visit must notify the Contracting Officer at [email protected] by 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time on June 30, 2025, to be added to the approved list.
The final day for question submissions is July 2, 2025, 10:00 AM Eastern Time. Questions must be submitted electronically, e-mailed to [email protected].
