The County of Riverside Transportation Department and Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District) are proposing to construct drainage improvements consisting of a double, 2-foot high and 4-foot wide, precast reinforced concrete box (RCB) culvert across Hostettler Road to alleviate flooding from the Temescal Wash. A lesser portion of the RCB, at the inlet side, will have to be cast-in-place construction. The culvert will be located approximately 900-feet southwest of Temescal Canyon Road immediately south of an existing driveway approach and approximately 800 feet north of Desperado Drive in the Temescal Valley community of Riverside County. The culvert is 80-feet in length and will have a reinforced concrete headwall with wingwalls at the inlet, and a reinforced concrete end wall at the outlet. The Transportation Department is soliciting quotations detailed in “Exhibit A” of this RFQ. Bids shall include all transportation costs, labor, and equipment for off-loading the product for the RCB as listed in the cost summary in Exhibit “B” and on the PublicPurchase.com cost sheet which is to be completed and returned in you PublicPurchase.com response.
