The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District (District) is seeking statements of qualifications from highly qualified architects, landscape architects, or planning firms (Consultant) with experience in overall and technical master planning. The primary objective is to provide the District with a road map for upgrades, expansions, and additions to the District’s parks system to meet current and future community needs for parks, trails, and open space. The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District (District) is seeking qualified consulting firms or teams led by a licensed Architect to develop a comprehensive 10-year Long Range Facilities Master Plan encompassing District-managed sites listed in the solicitation document on SecureBids. The Plan shall guide future investment, property acquisition, equity evaluation, infrastructure maintenance, and programmatic planning across the District’s diverse park and open-space portfolio. The District will create a ranked list of qualified firms, and the highest ranked firm is anticipated to begin negotiations for the first and only known project at this time, the RivCoParks LRFMP. The list of qualified firms specializing in architecture, landscape architecture, and planning is expected to remain valid for 3 years. The District reserves the right to use the list for hiring a Consultant on other projects with or without the requirement for long range planning as may arise in the future, to use the list to provide architecture on projects resulting from the master plan effort, or to solicit specifically for future projects, or to create a new list at any time, all at their sole discretion.
