ADVERTISEMENT FOR EXECUTIVE ARCHITECT UCLA requests a written response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the purpose of selecting an Executive Architect for the proposed project listed below: UCLA 100 Medical Plaza Suite 550/555 HemOnc Infusion Expansion (#20250228-2841-12) The space of the proposed project is currently occupied by Hematology/Oncology department. The project would renovate and reconfigure approximately 3,000 SF of existing clinical and administrative spaces within the 5th floor of MP100 to accommodate the expansion of Hematology/Oncology Infusion Clinic. The renovated clinic would provide additional infusion bays and treatment areas in response to the growing patient volume. The space program will include a non-licensed infusion area including but not limited to 2 private infusion rooms and 12 infusion bays. The renovations will include improvements in the mixing room and lab. The proposed reconfiguration may require changes in electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire sprinkler systems. The scope of work would also include glazing, doors and hardware, new lighting, casework, flooring, and ceilings. The project scope shall include demolition, alterations, and additions to the building¿s mechanical system. All work shall occur in an occupied building with restricted hours for construction and access to areas below the Project Site. The project shall require night and/or weekend work to accommodate these restrictions. Existing improvements impacted by the work will be restored to their original condition. The project will install medical equipment procured separately by the tenant. UCLA will select an Executive Architect based on qualifications in response to this RFQ. A shortlist of firms will be determined by a screening committee; further steps in the selection process will be at the discretion of the selection committee.
