Work will be to purchase and install replacement of existing Veeder Root 350PLUS to Veeder Root 450PLUS systems in one (1) Squadron of five (5) Missile Alert Facilities (MAF) and fifty (50) Launch Facilities (LFs). Two (2) additional Squadrons with five (5) MAFs fifty (50) LFs for each squadron (possible total of 15 MAFs and 150 LFs) will be included under this contract as options and one (1) additional option for seven (7) extra Veeder Root TLS 450PLUS consoles & accessories. Locations under this contract are located in the Missile Complex at Minot Air Force Base (AFB), which is located throughout northwestern North Dakota. Site order shall be set by the Government and can be changed to meet mission requirements at no additional cost to the Government.

The work shall include but is not limited to the replacement of the existing Veeder Root 350/350PLUS fuel monitoring systems with the new Veeder Root 450PLUS systems. All wiring shall be replaced with the Veeder Root network (i.e. from the console out to each sensor, probe, alarm and switch). Wire is required to be EMI shielded cable for all probes and sensors at LFs. The contractor is to follow all Veeder Root requirements for proper installation and setup. See Manual No: 577014-073 and Manual No: 577014-074. W3 MAF 450PLUS Programming Instructions W3 LF 450PLUS Programming Instructions for Air Force specific programming requirements. The contractor or subcontractor must have the following minimum training certificates to install and set up the equipment: Level 2 or 3 Service Technician Certification and Level 1 - Installer Certification. Contractor must have North Dakota licensed master electrician on-site working and must be physically on site during electrical installations. The conduit must be properly sealed in accordance with the latest National Electric Code (NFPA 70) and the Code for Motor Fuel Dispensing Facilities and Repair Garages (NFPA 30A). The contractor shall comply with applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) directives.
