The City of Bellingham (City) is seeking written statements of qualifications from consulting firms with expertise in municipal utility design and rehabilitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of Bellingham (“City”) is issuing this request for qualifications (RFQ) (Invitation No. 39B2025 from consulting firms interested in providing professional design services for the Waterfront Skatepark (WF024) project. The Waterfront Skatepark Project proposes to design and build a permanent skatepark under the Roeder Bridge where a current grassroots skateboard park exists. The design will be for permanent features along with access facilities, illumination, security features and related infrastructure. Services, including professional engineering services, and construction engineering and/or administration, may be added/removed from the contract contingent upon funding availability and project needs. The design of this project is funded through various City of Bellingham funds. SUBMITTAL All proposals shall be received no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday 17 July.
