Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor, quality assurance, and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete project 556-24-106 Replace Chiller 2 at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), North Chicago, IL. This project is for renovations resulting in a complete, compliant, and fully functional project, including complete and compliant demolition and replacement of an existing 1000-ton York centrifugal chiller and associated system. The replacement shall be a new 1000-ton water cooled centrifugal magnetic drive chiller, chilled water pump, condenser water pump, VFD's, local piping, valves, chemical feed system, electrical power, and controls, integrating them with the existing chiller plant as necessary to reestablish long-term reliability. The contractor shall bring the chiller plant into compliance with all current VA and industry standards. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Contact Opportunities. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a; (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) Certified SDVOSB/VOSB listed in the SBA certification database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ (see 13 CFR 128).   The solicitation will be issued on or about June 6, 2025, with the bid opening on or about July 10, 2025. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from Contact Opportunities which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220; size standard $19.0 Million applies. Time for completion is 348 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
