NA Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with eV Products in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency/Strategic & Conventional Forces Branch (DTRA/TDAS) to develop and produce large volume (15mm x 15mm x 7.5mm) spectral grade CZT detector s for use in the GN-3 Radiation Detector. Currently, eV Products is the only U.S. company capable of producing these detectors, in sufficient quantity (greater than seven (7) per year), at spectral grade. The Government anticipates the award of a contrac t with a twelve (12) month period of performance. This is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22. A determination by the Government not to conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
