Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army-Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis with University of Tennessee Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science, 2506 E.J. Chapman Drive, Knoxville, Tn 37996-4531 for experiments using sophistocated microscopic and spectroscopic techniques to evaluate mechanisms of bacterial spore inactivation by lethal agents. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
