This is a notice of the Governments intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Dornier MedTech. The requirement is for a service agreement for the Dornier DOLI S II Lithotripter located at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC 28310. Service Agreement includes, but is not limited to Proprietary Software Enhancements, Quarterly Preventive Maintenance Calls, Semi-annual Preventive Maintenance Calls, Unlimited Corrective Maintenance, all Labor and Travel, and replacement parts. The period of performance for this requirement is a Base Period (April 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009) and 4 one-year option periods (October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2013). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
