The US Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely(as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Vaisala INC, 194 S Taylor Ave, Louisville, CO 80027. The contractor shall provide the radiosondes that are used by the ATC Atmospheric Effects Team to collect upper data in support of test programs and noise control efforts. The radiosondes must be purchased through Vaisala as the upper air data collection unit, DigiCORAIII SPS220 set, is made by Vais ala and only works with the Vaisala radiosondes. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 Noon, Eastern Standard Time, August 21st, 2005.
