NA CBD/FEDBIZOPPS 1. Contracting Agency: The contracting agency for this procurement action is the United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), Warren, Michigan. 2. The 23 ODS vehicles to be produced under the proposed contract will be fielded to the Georgia National Guard in Aug 03 (13 M3A2 ODS, 10 M2A2 ODS vehicles). An option for additional 10 vehicles for the National Guard will also be included in the propos ed contract. 3. Options for ODS unique parts will also be included in the proposed contract to provide support for two retrofit programs which are now in the planning stages. The first is a field retrofit program for National Guard units in Montana and Idaho to upgrade 62 each A2 vehicles to the ODS configuration. The second program is for the upgrade of 28 A2 vehicles at Red River Army Depot for fielding to the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea. The option will consist of various spare parts. 4. No Technical Data Package Available (TDP) for this requirement. UDLP owns the drawings to the (TDP). 5. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to th e requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days (thirty days if award is issued under and existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
