The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Lemax/Ram, Incorporated, 9500 Pulaski Highway, Baltimore, MD 21220 on a sole source basis, for the repair of a Beliot Generator system. Competing this requirement and awarding to any other manufacturer would result in substantial delays and disruption that could have National Security implications. Also, it would increase the overall cost to the government. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.
