This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure DRT 1102 Portable Receiving System, and upgrade of two DRT1201s that the Unit currently has in inventory to support the 1st Information Operations Command. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract for the above products and services to the firm of Digital Receiver Technology Inc, 20250 Century Blvd, STE 300, Germantown, MD 20874. The Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: Delivery of the product/service shall be no later than 28 Febuary 2009. All quotations received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
