The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Mechanical Simulation International, 604 Lakeland Crescent, Yorktown, VA 22693-3838. The contrac tor shall provide Stryker Steering, Suspension and Driveline Critical Component Analysis focused on improving system reliability. The contemplated services will be performed at the contractors facility and at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This service incl udes all labor and travel for a period of 1 year from date of award. Based upon their developmental experience, expertise and familiarity with the existing Stryker multibody dynamic model, Mechanical Simulation International is the only qualified source which can provide the technical support in a timely manner that is need ed to evaluate and verify that the existing DADS model is suitable for fatigue analysis and fatigue life prediction. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541690 and the size standard is $6.5 million dollars in average annual receipts over the last three years.
