NA On behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense/Net Assessment and in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, the Defense Contracting Command-Washington intends to award a contract on a single source basis to the Dupuy Institu te, 1497 Chain Bridge Road, McLean VA. The Dupuy Institute will conduct a research effort that will address: officer training abroad, focusing on both the scope and the substance of such a foreign-based program and the degree of self-perceived success or failure of such foreign-based training efforts by the officer participants; how such trained officers contributed to the development of their home Services; and the assessment of military doctrine by experts and practitioners in and of the art of war. The results of this research project will be incorporated into a larger, effort already underway for the Director, Net Assessment. There is no solicitation document. This notice is not a request for quotes.
