The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) requires the services of a qualified contractor to obtain Avaya Communications Equipment to be used in all WMATA facilities. WMATA purchases several telephone instruments every year, with quantities ranging from one (1) unit to over 100 units, depending on project requirements. To streamline the purchase process and reduce costs and time associated with multiple purchases, WMATA has decided to consolidate all telephone purchases under one Master Contract using an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract with the issuance of Task Orders.
