All offerors that had submitted a proposal in response to Solicitation No. N00024-07-R-6225 are hereby advised that the Naval Sea Systems Command intends to make award under said solicitation no later than 15 April 2009. The resultant contract is for the production of the Acoustic Device Countermeasure MK2 Mod 3 devices. The MK 2 Mod 3 device is 3 inches in diameter, submarine launched expendable countermeasure device developed to provide SSN, SSBN, and SSGN submarines the capability to counter torpedo threats. The requirement consists of a base year and up to four (4) one-year options with a possible annual quantity of 100-850 units per year.
