P/N: 7000-0268 EMI Filter, Quantity: 4 EA The Government reserves the right to award on an all or nothing, or partial basis. The NAICS code is: 334419 and the size standard: 500 Employees. This combined synopsis/solicitation is a “SOLE SOURCE� to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) due to “Proprietary� rights. The contract type will be a Firm, Fixed Price. This requirement is SOLE SOURCED to: Spectrum Controls, Inc., as the only source that can provide this complex Electromagnetic Interface (EMI) Filter which will be installed in the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS). This EMI Filter is currently installed in combat shipboard Weapons Systems. This filter will allow inter-changeability between Navy ships. This specific filter meets the exact form, fit and functionality to be compatible with Arleigh Burke class systems and meet the Navy’s physical standards. Spectrum Control, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of these filters and the only source that can provide the necessary configurations to support this Weapons System due to form, fit and functional specifications required. This OEM has proprietary rights to this specific filter and they are the only known source that can meet the Governments required specifications. Any firms believing that they can provide the material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm’s ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the material without causing programmatic hardship.
