The US ARMY, TACOM-ARDEC intends to issue a request for proposal on a sole source basis to Tenebraex, Inc. of Boston, Massachusetts for the manufacture and delivery of a quantity of 6630 Laser Filter Unit (LFU) Anti-Reflection Device (ARD) for the Advanced Combat Optic Gunsight (ACOG) to be incorporated as a modification to contract W15QKN-04-C-1088. The LFU must include an Anti-Reflection Device (ARD) and a GFM laser filter. The LFU attaches to the ACOG TA31F which is a 4X32mm rifle sight designed to attach to the M4/M16A4 rifles. It is required to have laser eye protection. The LFU will provide the laser eye protection for the ACOG. The government requires the delivery of the LFU ARD no later than 30 days after award of contract modification. Numbered Note 22 applies to this requirement.
