The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract with Heckler and Koch, Inc., under Request for Quote (RFQ) C000113. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Heckler and Koch, Inc., is to provide 50 each MP5 10MM rifles; 552 each MP5 10MM magazines; 120 each M4 magazines; and, 50 each MP5 slings. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals to this office by 2:00 PM, EDT, Thursday, October 27, 2005, via facsimile to the attention of Ms. Theresa M. Powell, Contracting Officer, at (703) 632-1607. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System number is 332994, the size standard is 1,000 employees, and is being issued as an unrestricted procurement.
